FAQ

Which computers work with PC Connect (Beta)?
PC Connect (Beta) currently works with Windows devices running 64-bit versions of Windows 10 or later.
Where do I download the apps?
For your computer, download the Windows installer using the link at the top of this page. For your headset, you can find the "PC Connect (Beta)" app in the Play Store on your Android XR device.
Can I still use my mouse and keyboard?
Yes. You can keep using your PC's physical mouse and keyboard to control your desktop with precision. You can also use your headset's gestures to interact with the window if you prefer.
Can I use other apps in my headset while my PC is connected?
Absolutely. PC Connect (Beta) runs alongside your native Android XR apps. You can place your massive PC window next to other apps for a powerful multitasking experience.
Is PC Connect (Beta) compatible with Mac, Linux, or ChromeOS?
Not at this time. We are always working to bring Android XR features to more platforms, so please check back for updates on the latest improvements.
My screen is blank or not connecting. What should I do?
Please ensure both your PC and Android XR headset are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. While Bluetooth helps the devices find each other, a shared Wi-Fi connection is required to stream your PC to your headset.
I didn't receive a connection request. Where is it?
If the prompt doesn't appear, check your Windows Notification Center. Also, ensure that Focus Assist is turned off, as these settings can sometimes hide connection requests.
How do I make the text sharper?
If the text on your PC screen is difficult to read, try adjusting the display resolution settings on your PC. Lowering the resolution on your computer can often make text appear larger and clearer in the headset.
