1. Which browsers does this extension work with?
This extension works with Firefox version 1.5 and later. It doesn't work in the Mozilla Suite, Internet Explorer or Opera.
2. What is Firefox and where can I get it?
Mozilla Firefox is a free open-source web browser; you can download it from www.mozilla.com/firefox/.
3. Why isn't this extension working with my Firefox?
For the extension to work, you must be using version 1.5 or later of Mozilla Firefox. You can check which version you're using by clicking the "Help" menu in your Firefox browser, then selecting "About Firefox."
If you've just installed Web Comments, you'll need to restart your browser.
Web Comments must also appear in your browser's list of extensions. To see this list, click the "Tools" menu and then select "Extensions." If Web Comments appears, make sure it's enabled (not grayed out). If it's grayed out, you can enable it by right-clicking the extension name, selecting "Enable" and restarting your browser.

4. Does Web Comments only search blogspot.google.com pages?
No, Web Comments uses blogsearch.google.com to find the most up-to-date posts on blogs from all kinds of sources.
5. Why isn't my comment showing up?
It will usually take 20-30 minutes for your comment to show up in Web Comments, but in some situations it may take a few hours. Make sure the comment appears on your blog and check web comments again later to see if it has appeared.
6. How do I temporarily disable Web Comments?
To disable Web Comments, right-click on the icon in the lower right hand corner of your browser window and select "Stop comment retrieval."
7. How do I send comments and suggestions about Web Comments to Google?
First, visit the Firefox Extensions forum on Google Groups. You can also reach us at labs+webcomments@google.com.
8. I don't use Blogger for my blog. How can I add a comment?
Currently we only support adding comments via Blogger. We hope to add support for other blogging tools and services in the future.
9. How do I remove a comment from Web Comments?
If you've made a post to your blog that you'd like to remove, simply log in to your Blogger account, where you can easily edit and remove any of your existing posts.
If you have concerns about a comment which you think may infringe on copyright, please follow our DMCA process to let us know. Please be sure to include the exact URL of the blog in question. Thanks for your help!
